I'll Cast A Shadow
Had a GREAT ride the other day. Went up to Chameeza and did Chameeza to Sidewinder to Nuns corner then road the road down to Dale Ball North and did that. It was good to mix it up a little.
Days are getting way short this time of year. I might have to dust off my lights soon. Charge em up and get out the booties. After spending the last 2 weekends in Phoenix I think I like the warm temps very much. I also like snowboarding too though. Wolf Creek has all ready gotten 21 inches of snow this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some good Pow Pow to ride this year. Last year around these parts was dismal for snow. Great for biking though.
Todd sent me over some pictures from our ride up Rio en Medio the other day. He took some nice ones. He took the on into the sun on the top. Since I LOVE pictures I will put them up.
That is Toddy's pictures from the other day up the Rio en Medio.
Here are the other ride pics.
It is always fun to get out higher up the mountain and be with the pines
The blue sky is just perfect on this one
up on Sidewinder
The obligatory fence shot along burn trail.
Heading down towards little tesuque creek.
Grande CHAMISA
Recess Time
Then it was back to the Grind
Then it was onto the DB North for some fun.
There is a plan to clear cut some trees in the area of the Dale Ball trails
The ride was really fun but I snapped a chain and didn't have enuff chain left to ride out (note to self: take extra chain links with you)
I can't wait to do some more rides incorporating the winsor area and the Dale Ball trails. Both area's have such differences.
What is in your audio player? I have Sage Francis- A Healthy Distrust in mine.
I am going to go ride the South Boundary trail this weekend with the GITA crew. I think I will take the IF this time to give it a taste of Taos. Keep it rigid. Should be fun on that flowing trail.
All right you guys, gotta go. I have work to do. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.
PEACE!

Great shots as usual Tim. Any idea what that plant is that turned bright red this fall? I've noticed a lot of it around ABQ too. Makes for some nice colors.
Night rides will be starting up soon!
Yeaa I know. We have only been here over a year but last fall they were not around. I would like to know what they are too. The colors were just amazing this fall in the high desert.
